Dr. Zack Kail

Zack was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and studied at The Johns Hopkins University, Maryland before completing his MDiv at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh. Zack spent some time as a teaching fellow at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia whilst working on his Phd in Biblical Interpretation, which he finished in 2020. In 2013, after spending some years as an Assistant Pastor of Broomall Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPCNA), Zack and his family moved to Larnaca, Cyprus where Zack became the pastor of Trinity Evangelical Church until 2018 when he became the pastor of the Greek Evangelical Church, Larnaca.

Zack is married to Liesl, and they have four children.

Mr. David Ely

David grew up in the English Lake District before moving for his undergraduate studies to Aberdeen. After completing his Masters degree at the University of Glasgow, David then spent five and a half years working for and training at the Tron Church in Glasgow, first attending the Cornhill Scotland training course before becoming the pastor of the church’s Farsi congregation and completing the Pastor’s Training Course, also at Cornhill Scotland. He moved to Cyprus in January 2022 as a mission partner with CBMS Crosslinks.

David is married to Margarita, a native of Cyprus, and has two young children.

St. Barnabas’ Bible School is currently under the oversight of elders of the Greek Evangelical Church, Larnaca. Both Zack and David affirm the confession statement of the Greek Evangelical Church of Cyprus. You can find out more about the church here.
